1. Who we are
BlockHorizon Intelligence ("BlockHorizon", "we", "us") operates this website to publish crypto and traditional-asset research, analysis, and market data. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.
2. Information we collect
Account information (Google Sign-In). When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — nothing else. We do not receive your Google password or access your Gmail, Drive, or other Google services. This data is stored in our database solely to identify your account and remember your session.
Cookies. We use a small number of first-party cookies:
- A locale cookie to remember your language preference (English / Portuguese).
- A session cookie (set by our authentication provider) to keep you signed in.
- During this MVP phase, a Pro-status cookie that flags demo Pro access — this is not tied to any real payment yet and will be replaced by a real subscription record once billing is live.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Usage data. We do not currently run analytics tracking (no Google Analytics, no ad pixels). If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
3. Third-party services we rely on
To produce and display our content, requests are made to: Google (authentication), CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance (market price data), TradingView (embedded charts, via their public widget script), OpenAI (used server-side to help generate some analysis content), and public RSS news feeds. These providers may process technical data (like your IP address) as part of serving their own scripts/widgets, under their own privacy policies. We do not share your account information (name, email) with any of them.
4. How we use your information
We use your account information only to: authenticate you, remember your preferences, and — once billing is implemented — associate your subscription entitlement with your account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below — we will delete your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to retain records by law.
6. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example, once real payment processing is added). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
